The Role
We are seeking an experience Commercial Officer to join our dynamic team with a strong understanding of commercial best practice and to be able to confidently support the commercial process from cradle to grave. This role reports directly to the Commercial Director, working closely with Operational, Business Development and Business Support Partner Teams.
This role will require the successful candidate to have, or be able to attain, Security Clearance andmust have an existing right to live and work in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
Support the drafting, reviewing and negotiation of various contract document types across the supply chain, pre- and post-contract
Develop and maintain key customer and supplier relationships
Undertake Supplier Management activities, including on-boarding, contract management and off-boarding activities
Support commercial strategy development and execution across all business areas
Undertake contract negotiations, from bid to completion
Ensure commercial governance and risk management compliance
Drive continuous improvement in commercial processes
Support our Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (ED&I) initiatives through inclusive commercial practices
Contribute to our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities and sustainable strategies
