About Our Client:
The company is the leading global provider of quality assurance tools and knowledge to the human molecular pathology and genetic testing community in the form of External Quality Assessment (EQA) schemes, also referred to as proficiency testing (PT). This assures the best possible clinical diagnostics test execution, accuracy, performance, interpretation, and reporting.
The Commercial Director Role:
As the Commercial Director, you will be at the forefront of our growth strategy, responsible for developing and implementing commercial strategies that drive business growth and market share. You will build and lead a small high-performing commercial team, establish strategic partnerships, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Mentor and lead a newly created commercial team.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Business Development: Expand our market presence and customer base.

    Who You Are:
  • A visionary leader with a First or second-class honours bachelor’s degree in a biological sciences subject which includes a genetics/ genomics component.
  • 5-10 years’ experience in business development within the IVD/pharmaceutical sector.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to travel nationally and internationally as required.
  • Happy with a hybrid working arrangement with at least 2 days per week in the office in Manchester, UK.
