Our client seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join their successful team as a Colorectal Nurse. In this position, you will be responsible for delivering safe and effective patient-centered services across University Hospitals of Leicester. This is a full-time role, requiring 37.5 hours of work per week, from Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm with half an hour for lunch.

Ideal requirements for the Colorectal Nurse role.

  • Registered Nurse with a current NMC registration

  • Demonstrate evidence of ability to learn at degree level

  • Colorectal or Stoma background or specialist knowledge in the care of the colorectal surgical patient

  • Excellent communication skills, good networker and rapport builder.

    Role Responsibilities for the Colorectal Nurse role.

  • You will support the development of the nursing service to achieve person centered care under the direction of the Colorectal Nurse Manager.

  • As a Colorectal Nurse, you will work towards providing clinical expertise within the specialist area of colorectal cancer and other related colorectal diseases.

  • You will maintain excellent clinical and professional standards of work, be self-motivated and able to work to set objectives.
