Salary: To £35,000 PA, Depending on Experience, plus Overtime rate
Hours: 40-hour week, Monday - Friday 8.00am - 4.30pm

A skilled CNC Turner, Setter, and Operator is required by a growing precision engineering company specialising in plastic machining. Experience with Mazatrol controls is highly desirable. The company supplies high-quality components and services across various sectors, including oil & gas, food processing, and pharmaceuticals.

Our client is expanding rapidly and consistently invests in the latest machinery and technology to stay at the forefront of the industry.

The CNC Turner will work as part of a small, collaborative team, manufacturing components of varying complexity from materials such as PTFE, PEEK, Nylon, and others.

Any programming experience is beneficial, this role would suit candidates that are looking to make the next step from Setting and Operating and learn programming.

Duties will include:

Setting, Programming and Operating CNC Lathes.
Checking produced parts and ensuring the conform to customer requirements.
Ensure that the correct tooling is available to complete scheduled orders and plan proactively for next job.
Ensuring equipment is maintained and checked in line with maintenance schedules.
Checking availability of stock material against upcoming manufacturing orders.
Ensure Equipment to be safe and fit for use, particularly guarding.
Ensure that the working environment is clean and free from rubbish and debris.
Future opportunities for training and development with programs such as Fusion 360 and inspection equipment operation such as CMM programming.
