Clinical Research Phlebotomist, West London

Part time, 9 hours a week, Weds, Thurs, Fri

Duration: 6 months, £17ph

Leading Education and Research facility requires a motivated and efficient Phlebotomist to support the team on a research project.

You will be responsible for taking blood, urine, saliva samples from participants
Verify participant identification
Follow standard procedures for sample labelling and storage
Track collected specimens
Take height, weight and blood pressure measurements of participants
The ideal candidate must have

Proven UK paid experience at a Phlebotomist in the UK
Able to escalate concerns to clinicians
An understanding of ethical practice and study participant confidentiality
Experience of working with older adults in a Phlebotomy capacity
Experience with sample processing
Ability to communicate effectively
Meticulous attention to detail
Ability to work within a supportive team environment
