CK Group are working in partnership with Nxera Pharma UK Limited (formerly Sosei Heptares), to recruit a Clinical Procurement Manager. This will be a hybrid role, office based for three days a week in Cambridge or London.
 

Company:

Nxera Pharma is a technology powered biopharma company, in pursuit of new specialty medicines to improve the lives of patients with unmet needs in Japan and globally, focused on therapeutic areas in inflammation diseases, neurology and immunology.
 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As Clinical Procurement Manager you will actively support the Head of Procurement in delivering excellent procurement services that support clinical development activities, as well as support functions.

Key duties will include:

  • Identifying and vetting new potential suppliers.
  • Operating procurement governance models with our key suppliers, including: drafting Master Service Agreements, review and approval of Work Orders, tracking of benefits delivered.
  • Monitoring compliance with procurement policies.
  • Providing training to employees on procurement processes.
  • Negotiating better pricing / other terms (including later payment terms) with suppliers.
  • Tracking and reporting Procurement Key Performance Indicators (operational and financial metrics).

 
QUALIFICATIONS:

As Clinical Procurement Manager you will require:

  • A relevant science or business degree.
  • Experience within the Pharmaceutical / CRO industry in a procurement / alliance management capacity though which a network of contacts will have been created.
  • Proven experience in clinical research procurement.
  • Evidence of significant value delivery in previous roles.
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.



BENEFITS:

Base salary of £45.000 - £70.000, plus excellent benefits.
