Job Title: Locum Clinical Pharmacist (Band 7/8a)
Location: Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire
Hourly Rate: £29 - £37 per hour, via PAYE Direct Engagement
Contract: 6-Month Contract, ASAP Start (Nov 2024)

About the Role:

We are currently seeking several dedicated and experienced Clinical Pharmacists to join our NHS Hospital client , on a 6-month contract. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing clinical pharmacy services to patients and supporting the wider multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct clinical medication reviews for hospital patients, ensuring safe and effective use of medications.
Provide expert advice to healthcare professionals on pharmaceutical matters.
Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to optimise patient care.
Contribute to the development and implementation of treatment plans.
Manage and monitor patients with complex medication regimens.
Ensure adherence to best practice guidelines and regulatory standards.
Support the education and training of junior pharmacy staff.
Requirements:

Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
Previous experience in a clinical pharmacy setting (Band 7/8a preferred).
Strong knowledge of medicines management and clinical pharmacy practice.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Experience with patient medication counselling and pharmaceutical care plans.
ASAP start with a minimum of 6 months availability.
