About The Cromwell Hospital

The Cromwell Hospital is a major private hospital in West London providing outpatient and Inpatient service. The hospital has 180 beds and 4 suites, 6 theatres, level 2 and 3 full intensive care facilities, paediatrics, diagnostic services, physiotherapy, a dedicated day surgery unit, and private GP services.

Role Overview

The post holder will be responsible for delivering safe and effective pharmaceutical care and best medicines management practice. You will be skilled in communicating with all levels of clinical and healthcare staff in promoting the safe use of medicines. To help to identify and implement improvements to the service. Work with stakeholders, within your own area, to identify opportunities to improve the service for customers.

What You’ll Do

Providing a comprehensive and patient centred Clinical Pharmacy service to patients at Bupa Cromwell Hospital including participation in the antibiotic stewardship round, therapeutic drug monitoring, medicines reconciliation and dispensary support
Facilitating and promoting rational and optimal medicines usage
Providing assimilated and relevant medicines information to healthcare professionals and patients
Working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to contribute to enhanced clinical pharmacy services.
All processes must be in line with RPS, GPh.C, MHRA, Home Office and BCH SOP standards

What You’ll Bring

We are looking for highly skilled, enthusiastic clinical Pharmacists with vision and ambition to join our team.

As a clinical pharmacist you will be registered with the General Pharmaceutical council, have a postgraduate diploma in Clinical Pharmacy, CPD Portfolio and working towards RPS faculty accreditation.

Experience in an Outpatients pharmacy and managerial experience in a hospital environment is also desirable.
