Fixed term until 4th August 2026

Full time (Part time applications shall be considered)

Salary Scale - £45,504 - £71,550 (pro rata if part time)

Looking for a new and exciting challenge? Then think about working in NHS Forth Valley in the heart of Scotland.

Applications are invited from enthusiastic individuals for this Clinical Development post to support the Obstetrics and Gynaecology department in Forth Valley. We are seeking a highly motivated doctor to join our established medical team. The role will involve contributing to the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Inpatient and Outpatient services.

This exciting post in the Obstetrics and Gynaecology department at Forth Valley Royal Hospital provides an excellent opportunity obtain experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, working in a modern, purpose built state of the art NHS hospital. In addition, the CDF post will have 6 hours per week of protected development time and 2 hours of in-house training. The remaining period will be distributed between clinical work in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, both in the acute and outpatient settings. The hours will include out of hours working. The post will offer experience in general obstetrics and gynaecology on our Tier 2 rota. Duties will involve but will not be limited to working on the labour ward, reviewing obstetric and gynaecology emergencies and looking after antenatal, postnatal and gynaecology in patients. There will be opportunities to be exposed to obstetric ultrasound and speciality clinics within gynaecology.
