For Alphalyse, a world leader in protein analysis and contract research services, we seek a Client Relations Manager to drive business development in the UK biotech and pharmaceutical markets.
About Alphalyse:
Alphalyse is a Danish contract research organization (CRO) specializing in Host Cell Protein (HCP) analysis using state-of-the-art mass spectrometry techniques. Their mission is to support biotech and pharma companies in developing safer and more effective biologics by providing unmatched analytical services.
This is a unique opportunity to join an innovative company that combines technical excellence with client-focused solutions, enabling groundbreaking biopharmaceutical advancements.
The Role:
As part of the Business Development Team, consisting of the CEO, Head of Business Development, and another Client Relations Manager, you will be Alphalyse’s first foot in the UK. As such, you will play a pivotal role in expanding Alphalyse’s presence in the UK. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, building long-term relationships and driving the adoption of Alphalyse’s services in biological drug development.
Key responsibilities include:
Business Development : Identify and secure new clients in the UK biotech and pharma sectors.
Relationship Management : Build and nurture relationships with existing and potential clients to establish Alphalyse as a key partner in their development processes.
Market Expansion : Develop and execute strategic plans to penetrate the UK market, addressing client challenges with tailored solutions.
Representation : Represent Alphalyse at industry events, conferences, and client meetings, showcasing their expertise in protein analysis.
Collaboration : Work closely with Alphalyse’s internal teams, including Business Development, technical experts, and marketing, to deliver seamless client experiences.
About you:
To succeed in this role, you probably have:
Industry Expertise : 5+ years of experience in sales or client relations within the biotech, pharmaceutical, or life sciences sectors. A background in protein analysis, mass spectrometry, or biologics is a strong advantage.
Scientific Knowledge : A degree in the life sciences field or equivalent knowledge to effectively understand and communicate Alphalyse’s services.
Proven Sales Success : A track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, particularly in B2B settings with long sales cycles.
UK Market Knowledge : Familiarity with the UK biotech and pharmaceutical landscape, including its major players, trends, and regulatory environment.
Exceptional Communication Skills : Native-level English proficiency with the ability to explain complex scientific concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Client-Focused Mindset : Strong relationship-building and consultative sales skills, with the ability to align Alphalyse’s offerings with client needs.
Technical Adaptability : Proficiency with CRM tools and data-driven sales strategies to monitor and optimize performance.
