STAINLESS STUDIO LTD are a bespoke stainless steel and aluminium design, fabrication and engineering company based in Bilston,
West Midlands. We design all our products in-house according to client specifications. Although their primary focus is on supplying fabrication and machinery to the food and architectural industries, we also have experience working with the pharmaceutical industry and high end domestic and retail projects.
Cad engineer Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Cad Engineer located in Bilston with occasional site visits nationwide.
The Cad Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to designing and fabricating our products.
Qualifications

  • Creating two and three-dimensional designs and technical drawings
  • Designing frameworks for projects
  • Completing project planning work, such as budget and timeline estimates
  • Creating detailed design and construction plans for colleagues in other disciplines, such as manufacturing engineering or architecture
  • Collaborating with colleagues, to aid installations
  • Software to create renderings and floor plans, as and when required.
  • Assist in developing quality standards and practice guidelines for design teams
  • Liaising with clients to understand their goals and offering technical solutions to achieve them
  • Checking product designs for quality and performance according to client specifications
  • Ensuring product designs are safe and conform to any relevant legislation or industry regulations
  • Relevant experience in designing and fabricating products, preferably in the food or architectural industries
  • Previous experience in conveyor design would be beneficial
    Additional skills in project management, manufacturing would also be beneficial for this role.
