We are partnering with a fast-growth SME, operating under the umbrella of a larger group. They design and manufacture Pumps, and after entering the market 2-3 years ago have rapidly increased revenue. They are now looking to continue this growth into another market segment.


They are seeking a Business Development Manager to identify and convert new customers within the Process Manufacturing sector (Chemicals, Food & Beverage Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical & Cosmetics Manufacturing, Packaging) across the UK.



Responsibilities

  • Identify new business opportunities across Process Manufacturing
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from identification through to engagement, negotiation, design (supported by technical experts within the business) and successful onboarding of the customer
  • Deliver significant revenue increases year-on-year
  • Collaborate with the wider business to ensure most effective market and product positioning


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, ideally within Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Strong exposure to Sales/Business Development, including demonstrable ability to win new clients
  • Knowledge of Process Manufacturing customers
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Focused and goal-oriented


The head office is UK-based (South East England), but this is a remote position with travel to office and potential customers as required.


On offer is a salary of £50,000 to £60,000, plus car allowance and commission.
