ROLE OVERVIEW:


Our client is currently seeking a Business Development Manager / Senior Manager (exposure to or knowledge of out-licensing processes necessary) to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in Middlesex (remit will cover the whole of Europe). As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving market entry and growth within the EU market through strategic out-licensing initiatives.


KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Your duties as the Business Development Manager will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Proactively approach the EU market from an out-licensing perspective, offering products into B2B segments under direct senior management supervision.

2. Create and execute new EU leads, converting them into conclusive executed agreements.

3. Identify new products for future business growth and manage key accounts for EU clients, aligning with company vision.

4. Prepare and execute EU budgeting activities for target customers, ensuring coordination with supply chain and planning to avoid stock-outs.


ROLE REQUIREMENTS:


To be successful in your application to this exciting role as Business Development Manager (Out-Licensing) we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a related field.

2. Proven industry experience in the EU out-licensing segment for a generic pharmaceutical business.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with EU market dynamics, including tender participation and regulatory know-how.
