Business Development Manager

The Role:

Step into a pivotal role as aBusiness Development Managerwith a global leader in diagnostics. In this exciting position, you'll drive the growth of the livestock diagnostics business across the UK and Ireland. By building new relationships and managing existing ones, you'll help safeguard animal health and the supply chain through innovative livestock and poultry diagnostic testing solutions.

Your day-to-day interactions will include working with C-suite contacts, veterinarians, farmers, laboratory managers, agribusinesses, and educational research institutions. With a national remit, including Scotland and Wales, this role involves approximately 60% travel. Full product training and comprehensive support will be provided, offering you industry-leading career and earning potential.

Requirements:

To excel in theBusiness Development Managerrole, you'll need:

• A minimum of five years of sales experience, ideally in veterinary diagnostics.
• A strong background in diagnostics, life sciences, or scientific sales (preferred).
• A BSc or MSc in Microbiology, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
• A proven ability to drive business growth and develop key relationships.

The Package:

• Basic salary: £70,000-£80,000 DOE.
• Uncapped bonus: Up to £29,000, paid quarterly.
• Fully expensed hybrid car.
