🌟The Role:

This is a strategic commercial role, ideal for someone with a proven track record in life sciences or diagnostics business development. You’ll drive new client engagement, build long-term partnerships, and help shape the commercial future of a business that’s making a real impact in healthcare innovation.


🔍Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the creation and delivery of the company’s BD strategy in partnership with leadership
  • Identify and convert new business across diagnostics, pharma, and academia
  • Engage clients directly—at conferences, events, and online
  • Maintain and optimise CRM systems for lead and client tracking
  • Prepare proposals, client presentations, and tailored commercial offers
  • Collaborate on marketing content, thought leadership, and digital campaigns
  • Coordinate with technical teams to support grant submissions and CRO program delivery
  • Monitor client satisfaction and resolve issues swiftly to ensure retention
  • Share market and client insights to inform strategic planning


What We're Looking For:


Must-Haves:

  • Business development experience in IVD, CRO, or pharma product development
  • Strong client engagement and relationship-building skills
  • Working knowledge of the IVD lifecycle and commercialisation
  • CRM and digital tool proficiency
  • Degree in biomedical sciences, biology, chemistry, or related field


Preferred:

  • Contract negotiation experience
  • Understanding of diagnostics R&D funding landscape
  • Ability to work across marketing, commercial, and delivery functions
