The Role:
This is a strategic commercial role, ideal for someone with a proven track record in life sciences or diagnostics business development. You’ll drive new client engagement, build long-term partnerships, and help shape the commercial future of a business that’s making a real impact in healthcare innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
Support the creation and delivery of the company’s BD strategy in partnership with leadership
Identify and convert new business across diagnostics, pharma, and academia
Engage clients directly—at conferences, events, and online
Maintain and optimise CRM systems for lead and client tracking
Prepare proposals, client presentations, and tailored commercial offers
Collaborate on marketing content, thought leadership, and digital campaigns
Coordinate with technical teams to support grant submissions and CRO program delivery
Monitor client satisfaction and resolve issues swiftly to ensure retention
Share market and client insights to inform strategic planning



What We're Looking For:

Must-Haves:
Business development experience in IVD, CRO, or pharma product development
Strong client engagement and relationship-building skills
Working knowledge of the IVD lifecycle and commercialisation
CRM and digital tool proficiency
Degree in biomedical sciences, biology, chemistry, or related field

Preferred:
Contract negotiation experience
Understanding of diagnostics R&D funding landscape
Ability to work across marketing, commercial, and delivery functions

A self-starter with commercial acumen and a results-driven mindset
Comfortable working independently in a hybrid or field-based model
Communicative, adaptable, and resilient under pressure
Capable of building long-term relationships in a technical B2B environment
