The Opportunity


As they expand their services, they are seeking a self-starting Business Development Manager- Data Innovations. This newly created role combines sales and marketing responsibilities, reporting directly to the Commercial Director.


The successful candidate will play a crucial role in launching new services and driving the organisation’s growth ambitions.


Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement a marketing strategy for new-to-market services.
  • Manage a budget for marketing and travel.
  • Generate sales leads and new business within the pharmaceutical and wider healthcare sector.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal team to ensure alignment and successful execution of strategies.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences.


Experience


  • Comprehensive knowledge of pharmaceutical business intelligence / marketing operations.
  • Preferably experience on the agency side with established connections.
  • Proactive and confident networking and meeting people.
  • Comfortable making calls and developing relationships with potential clients.
  • Personable and self-motivated.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and Europe as required.
