Business Development Manager

The Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving new business growth while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. You will play a crucial role in identifying new opportunities, generating sales, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Your ability to build and maintain relationships with retail clients will be key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Achieve and exceed sales and revenue targets.
Identify and secure new business opportunities within the retail sector.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.
Create and implement strategic sales plans to maximize business growth.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.
Accurately log customer interactions and manage schedules using a CRM system.
Ensure timely customer payments in collaboration with the Accounts team.
Stay up to date with product knowledge and industry developments.
Attend meetings and contribute to discussions around sales strategies

Business Development Manager

Skills and Experience Required

Proven track record in business development or sales, preferably in the manufacturing industry or related field.
Strong ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to analyze market trends and develop strategic plans accordingly.
Commercially aware and results-driven mindset.
Strong IT skills, including proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
Full UK driving license and access to own car.
