A brilliant opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to join this small but ambitious British manufacturer and supplier of coding & marking solutions. This role offers an excellent package and good prospects.
 
BASIC SALARY: up to £45,000
 
BENEFITS:
· Commission and Annual Bonus to earn circa £75,000 OTE
· Fully Electric Company Car
 
LOCATION: Home / Office based depending on home location covering the Midlands & Northern England but ideally living within 1 hour of Northampton.
 
COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Peterborough, Nottingham, Northampton, Coventry, Leicester, Birmingham, Leeds
 
JOB DESCRIPTION: Business Development Manager, Sales Manager, Technical Sales Manager - Coding and Marking Equipment
 
Covering the whole UK with a 90% business development, 10% account management split selling the companies range of continuous ink jet printers to the industrial & manufacturing sectors.
 
You will have a very realistic target on both hardware sales turnover and margin.
 
Full marketing and technical support will be offered.
 
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Business Development Manager, Sales Manager, Technical Sales Manager - Coding and Marking Equipment
 
· You MUST have a proven track record in field sales of capital equipment (ideally with order value of £4,000 to £20,000) sold into the manufacturing sector with a bias towards the food, beverage, pharmaceutical & industrial markets.
· You MUST have experience of creating sales opportunities and will not be dependant on customer led requirements.
· You MUST be willing and able to do, and have a proven track record in, business development.
· You will have experience of selling leasing packages and leading with them.
· You will have a comprehensive knowledge of the full sales cycle.
· Ideally, you will have an engineering or technical background & will also have an understanding of SaaS sales.

This Business Development Manager role offers excellent prospects as the company is ambitious and have fully funded growth plans to roll out in the medium term which could lead to becoming Sales Manager and ultimately Sales Director.
