BMS Engineer – Commercial – Central London

Our client is a large and well-established MEP Sub-Contractor operating across the UK, Ireland & Europe. They undertake major Mechanical & Electrical Packages on behalf of Tier:1 main contractors involved in ‘technology’ schemes including Data Centres, Pharmaceutical, Semi-Conductor plants and heavy industrial projects.

Due to continued growth in the region of their pharmaceutical division, our client is now seeking an experienced BMS Engineer to join their team based on a Commercial build in Central London.

Responsibilities

  • Design and Engineering: Develop BMS system designs including control strategies, schematics, and network architecture, ensuring alignment with project specifications and industry standards.

  • Installation Oversight and Commissioning: Supervise the installation of BMS equipment and infrastructure. Lead functional testing and system commissioning to verify performance and reliability.

  • System Integration: Integrate BMS platforms with third-party systems such as HVAC, fire alarms, lighting, and access control to ensure seamless building automation.

  • Programming and Configuration: Program BMS controllers and configure user interfaces, ensuring effective and intuitive operation for building users and facility teams.

  • Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing technical support, fault diagnosis, and resolution during installation and post-handover phases. Deliver training to site teams and end-users as needed.

    Requirements

    Must have 3+ years prior experience in a similar role

    Must have previous experience on Commercial Projects

    Benefits

    £80,000 - £90,000 per annum + Benefits
