We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated Biomedical Scientist in Blood Transfusion to join our reputable client in London. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic large laboratory environment, where your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of test results essential for patient diagnosis and treatment. The main hours are : Mon - Friday (Apply online only), (Apply online only) and (Apply online only) and 1 in 4 Saturday 9.00 - 17.00.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct a variety of blood transfusion tests with precision.
Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations.
Accurately analyse and interpret complex test results.
Maintain detailed records and documentation.
Participate in maintaining the Quality Management System (lSO 15189) 
Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure the best patient care.
Qualifications and Experience:

HCPC registration.
A Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience working in a busy Blood Transfusion lab.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Experience with Haemonetics Blood Track is beneficial, but not required.
