This is an excellent opportunity for Biomedical Scientists who are confident in Haematology and looking for stable locum work with a supportive and reputable agency.

🔬 Positions Available

Band 7 Biomedical Scientist – Haematology

• Core hours
  
  
• Occasional weekends
  
  
• Occasional lates
  
  
• Occasional Bank Holidays
  
  
• All duties strictly within Haematology
  
  Band 6 Biomedical Scientist – Haematology
  
  
• Core hours
  
  
• Late shifts
  
  
• Weekends
  
  
• Bank Holidays
  
  
• Nights
  
  
• All duties strictly within Haematology
  
  Both roles require strong Haematology bench experience and the ability to work effectively within a busy NHS service.
  
  🧪 Laboratory Systems & Equipment
  
  
• LIMS: Telepath (currently), transitioning to WinPath
  
  
• Analysers: Sysmex XN-series (Automated Haematology), ACL TOPS (Coagulation)
  
  ✅ Candidate Requirements
  
  To be considered, applicants must be:
  
  
• HCPC‑registered Biomedical Scientists
  
  
• Experienced with a minimum of 1 year UK laboratory experience
  
  
• Confident working independently within Haematology
  
  
• Able to seamlessly integrate into an NHS lab team
