A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Biomedical Scientist to join a high tech Laboratory priding itself on quality.

With no day ever being the same as a Biomedical Scientist the role offers career development within a first-class high tech Lab.

Role & Responsibilities:

Reporting into the Pathology Operations Manager, the post holder will work closely with blood sciences team to perform speedy and accurate processing of samples, validation of results, training and supervision of junior members of the team enabling provision of a high-quality blood sciences service for laboratory users.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Multidisciplinary expertise: Have 5+ years' experience in clinical diagnostic Haematology, Biochemistry and Immunology;
HCPC registration (essential);
Experience with a wide array of analysers both point of care and laboratory based;
Experience in writing technical SOP's;
Experience in validation/verification of new equipment/assaysST23253 / Biomedical Scientist
