Mediplacements are recruiting for an experienced band 6 Biomedical Scientist in Biochemistry for a locum role with our client located in Basildon.

The pay for this position is £30-£32 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.

Analyser experience - Beckman AU5800, AU680, Access, DxI, Power Express track. Roche e411. Immulite. Phadia 2500.
IT - WinPath. Remisol.
Out of hours or lone working experience would be beneficial.

Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory tests, including routine and specialized tests in the Biochemistry Department
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards
- Interpret results accurately and provide reports to medical staff
- Maintain accurate records of tests performed, results obtained and equipment used
- Troubleshoot, calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments

The successful candidate must be HCPC registered and have experience in Biochemistry.
