Location:South East- Field based role


Our client is a large global pharmaceutical company and they are seeking a Medical Education Associate that will focus on the topic of Obesity. This will be a12 month contractwhere you will collaborate with medical affairs, medical science liaisons, marketing, sales teams and other cross-functional members to align on the learning needs externally with the strategic and tactical direction of the diabetes and obesity portfolio.



Responsibilities:

As aMedical Education Associate/Consultantyou will be in a customer facing position, delivering and facilitating education with a primary focus on obesity


  • You will be in a customer facing position facing role, delivering and facilitating education with a primary focus on obesity.
  • Having a deep knowledge of obesity, and a key influencer in clinical and therapeutic management is required.
  • You will also be translating these insights into meaningful strategies and education solutions that deliver exceptional health care professional experiences.


Requirements:


  • Deep scientific and clinical knowledge of obesity pathophysiology and treatment landscape. Clinical experience managing people living with obesity within NHS specialist weight management services or private weight management services is highly desirable.
  • Experience in delivering quality obesity or cardiometabolic education
  • Experience in using data to make impactful strategic decisions


Medical Education (MedEd) activities are a cornerstone for continued professional development among healthcare professionals (HCPs). These learning opportunities serve to enhance HCPs knowledge, competence, interdisciplinary team functioning, adaptive clinical decision-making, with the goal of empowering the HCP to improve clinical performance (technical and clinical competence), thereby achieving better patient outcomes.
