Are you an experienced Clinical Pharmacist looking for a leadership role that allows you to make a significant impact on patient care? Our client in Doncaster is seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to join their team as a Clinical Pharmacist Team Lead. This position offers a supportive and collaborative environment where your expertise will be highly valued. Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of clinical pharmacy services, ensuring the safe, effective, and economical use of medicines. You will lead and manage a team of pharmacists and technicians, offering expert advice and support to medical and nursing staff. Your duties will include developing and implementing policies, conducting clinical audits, and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to optimise patient care. Additionally, you will train and mentor junior staff, manage medication-related incidents, and contribute to service development and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Pharmacy or equivalent
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Extensive experience in clinical pharmacy, preferably within the NHS
  • Proven leadership and management skills
  • Experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures
  • Strong knowledge of medicines optimisation and clinical governance
  • Ability to conduct clinical audits and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to continuous professional development
  • Enhanced DBS check
