Job Description: The Pharmacy team at Pulse is recruiting for a Band 7 or 8+ Pharmacist/Pharmacy Technician in Digital Services in Somerset. The successful candidate will work full-time, starting ASAP, with a pay rate up to £30 per hour.
Banding: 7 or 8+
Hours: Full-time
Payrate: Dependent on Experience
Start Date: 01/08/2024
Duration: 3 Months
About the role: The appointee will demonstrate excellence and mentor staff in service optimization and change management, focusing on the ePMA system’s rollout. They will lead complex clinical changes and digital medicines management initiatives, ensuring compliance with standards and seamless digital integration across health services. They will support system implementation, handle inquiries, and work with teams to realize benefits.
Primary Responsibilities: Guide staff during system implementation.
Address technical, procedural, and clinical inquiries.
Collaborate with leadership to ensure system adoption.
Mandatory Qualifications and Experience: Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
Experience in a hospital pharmacy setting.
Proficiency with electronic prescribing and medication systems.
Leadership in change management.
Adaptability and autonomous working skills.
2 Years NHS experience.
Excellent communication skills.
Understanding of clinical risk and information governance.
Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
