Pay Rate: £26 per hour (LTD); PAYE options available

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Band 6 Pharmacist to join the Diagnostics, Cancer and Buckland Care Group at Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care across specialist services.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide clinical pharmacy services to designated wards and departments within the Diagnostics and Cancer Care pathways.
Conduct medicines reconciliation and provide expert advice on the safe, effective, and economic use of medicines.
Support prescribing decisions in collaboration with medical and nursing staff.
Participate in clinical audits, medication reviews, and formulary development.
Ensure compliance with local and national guidelines and protocols.
Contribute to patient safety initiatives and the development of pharmaceutical care plans.Requirements:
GPhC registered Pharmacist.
Previous NHS hospital experience (ideally at Band 6 level or equivalent).
Strong clinical knowledge, particularly in oncology, diagnostics, or complex care settings.
Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.Desirable:
Experience in oncology or cancer services is advantageous but not essential.
Working knowledge of EPMA and other NHS prescribing systems.Additional Information:
This role offers flexible payment options including LTD and PAYE.
6-month initial contract with potential for extension based on service need.
