Job Description:

The Biomedical Science team at Pulse is currently recruiting a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist in Biochemistry to work in a busy NHS Hospital in Birmingham. We are looking for a biomedical scientist who can make a real difference in supporting the laboratory service. This contract is temporary with a rate of £23 – £26 per hour.

As a Biomedical Scientist in Biochemistry, you will be expected to be proficient in using analyzers in Biochemistry automation. If you have additional experience in more manual or specialist techniques such as protein electrophoresis or HPLC, that would be a plus. On a day-to-day basis, you will be supporting the senior biomedical scientists in the delivery of the service and providing guidance to junior members of staff.

HCPC registered UK NHS or private sector Biochemistry laboratory experience Biomedical science qualification
