Rate: £16 per hour
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Milton Keynes. This temporary full-time position is perfect for someone with at least 6 months of NHS experience who is eager to contribute to the efficient operation of our pharmacy services. As a Band 3 Pharmacy Assistant, you will support our pharmacists and healthcare team in delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities: In this role, you will assist with the preparation and dispensing of medications, manage inventory, and ensure that all pharmaceutical supplies are stored correctly. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate patient records, handling customer inquiries, and providing support to the pharmacy team in various administrative tasks. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the pharmacy and the delivery of excellent patient care.
Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of 6 months NHS experience
Basic knowledge of pharmaceuticals and medical terminology
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to regulatory standards
