Senior Automation Engineer | Contract | Pharmaceutical Plant | UK



Position for a Senior Automation Engineer looking for a project-based role where you will support the overall delivery of DeltaV workstream at a leading pharmaceutical manufacture.


The Senior Automation Engineerwill work closely with systems integrators and engineering vendors to ensure all deliverables meet project needs and liaise with senior stakeholders to ensure clear lines of communication.


Our client is a leading global pharmaceutical organisation that is investing heavily across the site, and the projects include upgrade, and a high-value greenfield project.


As NES Fircroft continues to support our clients across the whole of Europe, this is a fantastic opportunity for a DeltaV Lead to step into a long-term contract position with a client investing heavily in both greenfield and brownfield projects.



The position:


* Senior Automation Engineer.


*12 months plus contract position


*Remote workings – 2 days


*Client-side.


*Supporting the DCS system (Emerson DeltaV)


*Ensuring all software is compliant with S88 standards.


*To take multiple DCS systems from design to commissioning and qualification on site.


*Lead all the downstream equipment scope of the project to ensure it meets project deadlines.




The ideal applicant for the role:


*Five years plus DeltaV design, configuration, and testing required.


*GAMP 5 experience is a must.


*Experience leading small to medium automation teams is essential.


*Experience leading DeltaV projects from design to completion.


*Ability to work within a high-performing team.


*Must have a background in Automation (complete life cycle)


*Strong experience in DeltaV, PLCs, HMIs, and OSI PI.


*Certified completion DeltaV DCS training.
