We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer with a strong background in DeltaV Distributed Control Systems (DCS) to support pharmaceutical manufacturing projects. The role involves leading project execution, batch design (S88 standard), system integration, and site support, ensuring smooth automation operations in regulated environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute automation projects from front-end design through commissioning in pharmaceutical manufacturing settings.
  • Design and implement batch operations, equipment modules, unit procedures, and recipes following S88 standards.
  • Develop and enhance control logic, HMI graphics, typical libraries, and other system configurations.
  • Perform risk assessments, prepare design and functional specifications, and maintain documentation aligned with regulatory standards.
  • Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), dry runs, and provide site commissioning and troubleshooting support.
  • Collaborate with process, operations, hardware, and vendor teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Provide technical input on software/hardware integration, system performance, and communication protocols (e.g., MODBUS, OPC, Fieldbus).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of experience in automation engineering, with significant exposure to pharmaceutical projects.
  • Strong expertise in DeltaV DCS, batch design (S88), control logic development, and third-party system integration.
  • Hands-on experience with FAT, SAT, commissioning, and operations support in regulated environments.
  • Good project leadership, planning, and communication skills.
