We are seeking an Associate Director, Global Pricing and Market Access, that will support the development and execution of global pricing and access strategies across CSL Seqirus’ portfolio. This role ensures strategic alignment across inline products, pipeline assets, and lifecycle expansions, serving as a conduit between Commercial Development, Business Development (BD), and local affiliates. The Associate Director will also contribute to operational pricing excellence, global access infrastructure, and proactive market access initiatives for geographic and product portfolio growth.

Responsibilities include:-

Value Preservation of the portfolio:-

  • Preserve value during changes to products by maintaining pricing strategies for current products
  • Lead collaboration with international markets to align pricing and access strategies with market changes.
  • Work closely with HEOR and Medical Affairs to enhance the value proposition through updates to the Global Value Dossier and new cost-effectiveness and budget impact models.
  • Gather and analyze insights on access requirements and market dynamics, including updates on Health Technology Assessment (HTA) requirements.

 Growth of the portfolio:-

  • Drive global expansion by providing strategic pricing and access guidance, collaborating with the HEOR department to customize health economic models, and preparing pricing and reimbursement (P&R) dossiers with affiliates.
  • Proactively collect market access insights for new markets and explore payer landscape changes to identify major opportunities for geographic expansion.         
  • Future Portfolio Collaborate with Affiliates to develop market access strategies for pipeline assets Engage with payers to highlight procurement insights and validate pricing assumptions through research and vendor collaboration.
  • Develop global resources and tools for payer discussions to facilitate successful launches (e.g. value propositions, global payers’ deck).
  • Provide market access support for BD projects as a subject matter expert (SME), including due diligence activities, pricing landscape assessments, and access strategy evaluations.

Pricing Infrastructure:-

  • Serve as a key member in global pricing governance (e.g., SQPC), assisting affiliates with pricing business cases and ensuring compliance with global pricing strategies.
  • Support the development of Seqirus’ pricing portal and enhance the pricing infrastructure through monitoring, analysis, and streamlined processes.
  • Provide updates on the pricing landscape, analyze trends, and share insights with the Global Commercial Development team and affiliates.

Operational Support:-

  • Handle day-to-day pricing and market access operations, including vendor scouting, proposal management, and administrative support for onboarding new projects.
  • Act as a resource for affiliates, assisting with pricing data management and access insights to support local strategies.

Qualifications Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, health economics or business-related fields; advanced degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in global pricing, market access, or a related pharmaceutical/biotech role.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects, analyse pricing data, and develop actionable insights for market access strategies.
  • Previous vaccine experience is a valuable asset, though not a requirement.
  • Strong knowledge of HTA requirements and global payer landscape.
  • Experience collaborating with affiliates and external partners on pricing and access strategies.
  • Analytical expertise to synthesize market data and support pricing governance decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills to engage internal stakeholders and external partners effectively.
  • A collaborative mindset to align pricing strategies with organizational objectives.
  • Clear understanding around the need to adhere to ethical practices and comply fully with regulatory, legal, and industry codes of conduct.
