Job Description

We are looking for an EMEA Lead - Toxicology & Product Stewardship to serve as our EMEA Lead, responsible for launching and growing our consulting presence across Europe. This is a seller-doer leadership role with strong emphasis on business development, client acquisition, and strategic growth. The ideal candidate will bring a portable book of business and may join as an individual or with a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of J.S. Held’s regulatory toxicology strategy across the EMEA region.
  • Drive business development efforts, leveraging existing client relationships and networks to grow our market share.
  • Deliver high-quality consulting services in regulatory toxicology, product stewardship, and in silico toxicology.
  • Represent J.S. Held at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to build visibility and credibility.
  • Lead proposal development, sales pitches, and client negotiations.

Qualifications

  • EU-registered toxicologist status is required.
  • 15+ years of experience in regulatory toxicology, with a strong background in consulting and business leadership.
  • Proven track record of business development success and a portable book of business.
  • Experience managing or building teams is highly desirable.
  • Deep knowledge of EU and EMEA regulatory frameworks (REACH, CLP, BPR) and non-animal testing strategies.
  • Fluency in English is required.
