Associate Director, Business Development – Consumer Health
IQVIA Consumer Health’s Omnichannel execution teams work with industry partners & clients to strategize, build, and deliver end to end sales and marketing programmes across the Consumer Health portfolio from full brand fostering to sales execution.
We seek an experienced, solution-oriented sales professional to develop & expand relationships within IQVIA Consumer Health’s cross-functional environment, and own and drive the sourcing of new business & clients across target solutions both in the UK and Internationally
You must have a good appreciation of Consumer Health industry, IQVIA offerings and a strong client network and ability to pull end to end solutions together to address client and industry need.
Responsibilities
Identifies, develops, and manages a pipeline of net new client relationships and opportunities sought from existing organizational clients, private equity, and net new organizations.
Leads the development of qualified opportunities into closed deals to achieve set revenue targets across the Consumer Health portfolio.
Collaborate with the appropriate resources to support responses and pricing for RFPs, proposals, and presentations that meet the client needs.
Acts as liaison between departments to ensure appropriate SMEs are included to assist in closing new opportunities.
Co-ordinates sales, business & service lines at a country, regional and global level.
Gains intimate knowledge of the client and challenge with innovative ideas to develop and close opportunities, to provide end-to-end solutions, to grow the size/duration/value of sales over time.
Develops a good understanding of the breadth of IQVIA Consumer Health capabilities to maximize ability to grow accounts.
Develops, implements, and evolves an annual sales plan including identification of potential client prospects, their needs, and the methodology of presenting company's ability to fulfil those needs.
Reports on pipeline and forecast revenue status.
Our Ideal Candidate
Extensive knowledge of the Consumer Health/ health and wellness market.
Proven track record of solution selling across a diverse portfolio of capabilities.
Strong sales and opportunity management skills across the full sales cycle (from lead identification to contract negotiations and closing)
Ability to engage high level contacts, as well as develop a network of senior and middle management contacts to build long lasting trusted partnerships.
Proven ability to manage multiple clients effectively.
Able to create strategic and tactical customer plans.
Strong understanding of financial reporting/forecasting and sales opportunity management
Competent in the use of Microsoft office, to deliver professional client communications including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to interpret and present complex concepts.
Proactive, self-motivated, and accountable with the aim to always drive positive client satisfaction.
Strategic thinker with a solution focus, combined with ability to execute tactically.
Ability to develop strong internal relationships and to work collaboratively to pull together client engagements and delivery of projects.
Understanding/Selling of outsourcing solutions would be an advantage.
