This role offers hybrid working, requiring 3 days perweek in our London office. Key Accountabilities: - Designing,analyzing, managing non-interventional studies (NIS) includingPatient Preference Studies (PPS) and collaborating with multiplestakeholders to deliver critical analyses. - Representing thereal-world data (RWD) statistical expertise within Global MedicalAffairs and Patient Engagement. - Contributing towards anyregulatory documents when required for such studies. - Developingclear and concise study protocols, analysis plans, and reports. -Providing scientific direction for and/or directly conducting dataanalysis, statistical model development, and statisticalprogramming (preferred languages R and/or SAS). - Training others(through support) on methods and principles relating to RWDstudies, including PPS. - Managing vendors relating to anystatistical deliverables. - Representing Novartis at meetings,internal or external on aspects related to NIS (including PPS). -Developing internal processes for design reporting and execution ofNIS (including PPS). - Keeping abreast of latest methods andlooking for opportunities to develop and implement innovativemethodologies and evaluating risks and opportunities for NIS/PPSprojects. Your experience: - MSc Statistics or equivalent with atleast 5 years of work experience or PhD (in Statistics orequivalent) with at least 3 years of work experience with expertisein RWD analysis methodology. - Has advanced knowledge of applyingstatistics and innovative approaches. Expert knowledge in a varietyof statistical areas. - Strong data analytic proficiency R(advanced skills required), other languages a plus (SAS, STATA, orsimilar programming language). - Ability to handle multipleprojects successfully with scientific rigor. - Intellectualcuriosity and independence to include the ability to self-start andself-teach. - Proactivity, responsiveness, and the ability tobalance shifting priorities to ensure that timelines and objectivesare met, and expectations are exceeded. - Able to forge and managesignificant relationships with internal and with externalstakeholders. - Fluent in English with strong communication andpresentation skills, with the ability to articulate complexconcepts to diverse audiences.
