Falcon Green have partnered with one a market leading tier 1 contractor, that operates across Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe, in their search for a Assistant Project Manager for a €500m hyperscale data centre project in West Dublin. This contractor is best known for their delivery of complex across many different sectors, residential, commercial, civils, infrastructure, data centre and pharmaceutical.

This company are widely renowned for their training and retention of staff, with many employees staying in the business long term and given the space and guidance to climb up the ranks in their field. With reportedly 30 new data centre projects planned in Ireland over the coming years, it is the fastest growing sector in construction and there is no better time than the present to be getting into the industry.

The scope of your role will be to oversee the CSA packages of the data centre and surrounding grounds, from earthworks stage right through to client handover. You will report directly to the Assistant Contracts Manager who will be based on site full time and give you the support and guidance to progress through the ranks.

Assistant Project Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Design review of submissions for all required elements

  • Review quality of work on all ongoing works

  • Prepare estimates and participate in tender reviews as required

  • Liaise with the Construction/Project Manager, client and supplier on technical matters as required

  • Review and advise the design team of any modifications needed to the detailed road designs

    Assistant Project Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • 5+ years concrete/steel/façade/groundworks experience

  • Degree educated

  • data centre experience desirable

  • Positive attitude and ability to lead and manage packages

  • Career ambitious
