Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time

Location: Northwich

Hours: 9 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

Company/Position

We are working with a leading manufacturer of Electric Systems. They specialise in providing analytical services and solutions to various industries. Their services include bespoke instruments, maintenance and repairs, and training. They cater to sectors such as pharmaceutical, environmental, and industrial.
Our client is looking for an innovative Assembly Technician that is used to building and assembling products using small and intricate components, you will also get involved in all stages of the manufacturing process, from design to installation. Assembly will involve wiring, drilling and fitting components to create bespoke units.

Responsibilities

Design, build and test the bespoke electronic systems for clients.
Create production diagrams to allow for the construction of the instruments using software programs.
Create kit building and stock lists to enable ordering of required materials.
Be innovative and strive for improvements in designs when possible.
International travel is involved to visit client sites, this will be completing repairs and installations.
Control stock levels.
Provide phone and email support to customers.
High standard of safety and cleanliness in the workshop.

Experience/Skills Required

Previous experience working designing electronic circuits.
Must be able to read wiring diagrams.
Experience with electronic components and troubleshooting systems.
Design build and test scientific instrument systems, both standard and bespoke.
Able to travel internationally when required (all expenses will be covered).
