£24,069 - £25,378 DOE

Hours:

Monday-Thursday 08:00-16:00 Friday 08:00-15:30

You’ll play a key role in the production process, working with high-specification products in a modern, well-equipped facility. The Role:

To manufacture high-quality products across the Primary, SMT, and Assembly areas, ensuring all components meet established quality standards and are completed within the required timescales. This involves following detailed production processes, maintaining accuracy, and contributing to a smooth and efficient workflow within the manufacturing team.

Main Responsibilities:

Read drawings and accurately assemble components, ensuring that all parts are fitted correctly, whilst maintaining efficiency of assembly line.
Provide support and guidance to colleagues to gain product knowledge.
Use of hand tools and power tools to assemble components according to product specifications.
To ensure all relevant paperwork is completed accurately.
To ensure all manufactured components are built to the expected Quality standards, reporting any quality issues that may arise.
Conduct relevant quality checks.
To adhere to all safe working practices and policies ensuring the wearing of the correct PPE at all times.
To work in line with the company’s environmental policy.
To ensure working area is in line with housekeeping expectations at all times.
The Candidate:

Required Skills & Experience:

Essential:

Good Level of Math’s & English
Primary, SMT or assembly experience
Knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety requirements
Ability to be flexible; working in various roles within production area; amending working hours to support the operation requirements – Days and shift work
Desirable:

Knowledge and ability to read technical drawings
Competent at Level 2 wire and test
The successful candidate will be working within an established experienced team. Training and support will be supplied.
