Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / AnalystLocation: Leeds, West YorkshireSalary/Benefits: £25k - £42k + Training & BenefitsOur client is a professional and UKAS accredited Asbestos organisation, who has a strong presence in the Yorkshire region. They are seeking a knowledgeable Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst to cover a mix of Commercial, Industrial and Public Sector client sites. Ideally, applicants will have access to the M1 and M62 for easier travel to client sites. Due to the nature of the client contracts, they are also able to accept applications from singular qualified applicants undertaking Surveying or Analysis. They are offering excellent salaries and packages for the successful applicant.Ideally, applicants will be based around: Leeds, Bradford, Castleford, Wakefield, Pontefract, Dewsbury, Selby, York, Goole, Pocklington, Thorne, Doncaster, Mexborough, Rotherham, Sheffield, Worksop, Batley, Huddersfield, Halifax, Bingley, Keighley, Skipton, Harrogate, Wetherby, Oldham, Rochdale, Bolton, Manchester, Stockport.Experience / Qualifications:- Will have proven experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst, ideally for a UKAS accredited firm- As a surveyor you will require a BOHS P402 (or RSPH equivalent)- As an analyst, you will be qualified with the BOHS P403 & P404- Able to work in accordance with UKAS, HSG 264 & HSG 248 guidelines- Good written & IT skills- Able to travel as per company requirementsThe Role:- Undertaking Management, Refurbishment and Demolition asbestos surveys on a range of client sites- Carrying out 4 Stage Clearances as well as personal, leak, background and reassurance air monitoring- Safely taking ACM samples and bagging correctly- Writing bespoke surveying and analytical reports- Working closely with asbestos removal operatives to ensure works are carried out in line with industry guidelines and to agreed deadlines- Providing technical advice to clients and answering any issues they might have- Representing the company in a professional mannerAlternative job titles: Asbestos Surveyor, Asbestos Analyst, Site Analyst, Asbestos Consultant, Environmental Consultant.Future Select are the leading market supplier for recruitment in the Asbestos industry; we work with the best clients and candidates and supply the majority of permanent jobs in the asbestos market.
