Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer required to join a global, leading HVAC manufacturer.

The successful Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer will operate remotely, covering the North and North East including Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle, Sheffield and surrounding areas focusing on driving business development and managing key accounts for HVAC systems including refrigeration , chillers, condensing units, and other HVAC-R solutions across a wide range of end users in sectors such as cold storage, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, and manufacturing.

The Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer will ideally have experience selling and managing key accounts for HVAC or refrigeration systems, ideally chillers, refrigeration, or bespoke cooling systems.

Package: £55,000£65,000 depending on experience

Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer Role: Drive new business and manage key accounts across a range of HVAC-R products, including chillers, condensing units, refrigeration packs, and bespoke engineered cooling systems
Develop relationships and deliver technical sales solutions to end users across cold chain, food production, pharmaceuticals, logistics, and general industrial sectors
Conduct site visits, system reviews, and provide tailored HVAC proposals based on customer needs and applications
Work closely with internal engineering and commercial teams to deliver end-to-end HVAC solutions
Liaise with various engineering departments
Operate remotely, managing the territory across Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle, Sheffield and surrounding areas
Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales Engineer Requirements: Experience as a Key Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, or similar within HVAC or refrigeration
Proven background selling HVAC systems such as refrigeration, chillers, condensing units, or heat pumps into end user markets
Comfortable operating in technical sales environments, providing consultative advice and building long-term customer relationships
Strong commercial acumen with a focus on solution-based selling
A technical qualification such as Apprentice-trained, HNC, HND, or Degree would be advantageous
Full clean UK driving license
