Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and passionate UK Registered Architect in our Cardiff, Godalming Surrey or Manchester office. This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary, complemented by excellent benefits.

As an Architect, you will lead design delivery and prepare proposals. Moreover, you will play a pivotal role in managing and developing the architectural offering, ensuring the delivery of high-quality design solutions that meet client expectations and align with Scitech’s reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities encompass architectural design, project leadership and business development. This includes delivering competent architectural services, leading design coordination across disciplines, managing resources to meet project requirements, and ensuring compliance with best practices and quality standards.

As Design Lead, Discipline Lead, or Project Lead for a range of projects you will assist with deliverables, planning, and reporting, and contributing to design reviews focused on quality, safety, and constructability.

Additionally, the role involves preparing technical presentations, supporting work proposals, and representing the company at client meetings, supply chain engagements, and on site.

Technical Competencies

• UK Registered Architect status, preferably Chartered.
• Life Science / Pharmaceutical experience or a similar technical background.
• Comprehensive knowledge of architectural strategies, techniques, and current best practices.
• Familiarity with BIM/CAD design tools and proficiency with NBS specification software.
• Strong understanding of construction techniques, products, and interdisciplinary design integration.
• Commercial awareness and ability to manage project budgets effectively.
