Associate Director, Final Medical Signatory, LondonClient: Organon Location: London, United Kingdom EU work permitrequired: Yes Job Reference: 240094f2f6ba Job Views: 96 Posted:11.03.2025 Expiry Date: 25.04.2025 Job Description: PositionOverview: The primary responsibilities of the Medical Services Leadis to triage and respond to all inquiries received throughdifferent channels from healthcare providers and other externalstakeholders, and manage the processes related to promotionalreview ensuring the highest standards in medical communications.Primary Responsibilities: Medical Review: * Manage all theprocesses related to promotional material review and approval (i.e.review flows, priorities, outsourcing, metrics, SOP, implementationof regional initiatives). * Be knowledgeable of the differentregulations and laws governing promotional materials in thecountry. * Ensure that medical review of materials is completedwith accuracy and in a timely manner, meeting company policies andcountry regulations prior to public release. * Provide complianceleadership and training to country staff. Medical Information: *Respond to or triage unsolicited on-label and off-label inquiriesreceived from healthcare providers and other external and internalstakeholders. * Ensure that responses to medical inquiries arehigh-quality professional communications. * Set-up standardizedanswers for frequently asked questions or routine requests, incollaboration with Medical Advisors and Medical Science Liaisons.Research, assess, and compile responses from published andunpublished literature to create clinical support in a fair,balanced, and scientifically accurate format. * Report adverseevents and product quality complaints to the appropriatedepartments. DPOC (Designated Point of Contact) Process Management:Ensure receipt, classification, and appropriate routing ofproduct inquiries for further processing to meet regulatory andbusiness requirements. * Assure DPOC database is accuratelymaintained. * Generate and report DPOC monthly key performancemetrics. * Identify gaps within the medical information process andprovide rapid resolution. * Support and train MedicalAdvisors/Medical Science Liaison and other staff in the managementof DPOC/medical information requests. Education / Certificates: *GPhC registered pharmacist or GMC registered doctor * UK FinalMedical Signatory Competencies and Experience: * At least 5 yearsexperience in the pharmaceutical industry * In-depth understandingof the ABPI code. * Ability to understand and apply SOPs andregulations related to promotional review, MIR, DPOC * Ability toidentify and escalate risks/issues that arise within ORD functionalareas * Ability to manage the different systems related to theposition * KPI analysis on a regular basis * Ability to work withpartners (Commercial and medical affairs) in order to ensure properalignment and accelerate the approval process Who We Are: Organondelivers ingenious health solutions that enable people to livetheir best lives.
