Applications Engineer (Manufacturing Equipment)

£52,000 - £60,000 DOE + Private Health Package + Life Insurance Policy + Company Car

Are you a project manager with engineering experience and a background in the equipment manufacturing industry?

Would you like to oversee engineering projects and solve manufacturing challenges for pharmaceutical companies including Pfizer and AstraZeneca?

The company have built up extensive experience within project engineering over the past 25 years, working with large blue-chip organisations to design and develop solutions to assist in the production of pharmaceuticals.

On a daily basis you will be mainly office based, but will also have the opportunity to attend site visits to oversee installations and commissions. You will oversee the planning, implementation and execution of projects while liaising with clients, contractors and engineers to ensure the success of each project.

The Role:

Interpreting customer requirements and creating quotations and tenders
Carrying out site surveys, taking measurements and gathering information to produce drawings
Produce and update general arrangement and detailed drawings throughout each project
Establishing location of equipment and determining suitable routes for interconnections
Conducting risk assessments and producing reports, validation documents and user manuals in accordance with current H&S legislation
Overseeing project/contract costs and budgets
8.30am - 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8.30am - 3.30pm FridayThe Person:

Engineering experience
Background in or supplying into the pharmaceutical machinery industries
Right to live and work in the UK without sponsorship
