Join a fast-scaling biotech that’s innovating at the intersection of protein science and animal health. We’re engineering novel antibody formats, including VHH single-domain antibodies, to target previously untreatable diseases. If you’re an expert in molecular biology and protein engineering with a passion for translational science, this is your chance to lead high-impact work in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

What You’ll Do

· Lead design and engineering of therapeutic antibodies, including VHHs, bispecifics, and fusion proteins

· Apply advanced molecular biology techniques (e.g. vector design, cloning, mutagenesis) to antibody construct development

· Oversee optimisation of antibody properties for veterinary applications, including immunogenicity and developability

· Collaborate cross-functionally with expression, assay, and CMC teams to drive candidate progression

· Supervise and mentor lab scientists, ensuring scientific excellence and career development

· Contribute to project strategy, scientific roadmaps, and communication with leadership and partners

What You’ll Bring

· Proven expertise in antibody/protein engineering, with experience designing therapeutic antibodies

· Strong molecular biology foundation including cloning, construct design, and mutagenesis

· Familiarity with complex antibody formats (e.g. VHH, bispecifics, fusion proteins)

· Understanding of developability challenges: immunogenicity, manufacturability, and biophysical profiling

· Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills across technical and non-technical teams

· Experience leading or mentoring in a biotech or fast-paced research setting
