You will manage a team to deliver analytical development aspects of specific biosimilar projects including method development for the purposes of product characterisation and process development, with the ultimate aim helping to progress projects from R&D to commercial release.

The client are an established global organisation developing and supplying novel drugs across the generics and biosimilars space.

Description

As an Analytical Development Team Lead based in North-West London you will:

Lead the team to deliver analytical method development and analytical method transfer activities.
Perform and review a range of analytical methods to support Process Development and Characterisation which includes Chromatography (HPLC, UPLC), Spectroscopy (UV-Vis, Plate Reader, CD, Fluorescence, FTIR), capillary-based (cIEF, CE-SDS) and Mass Spectrometry.
Complete and review laboratory documentation accurately (Logbooks, SOP, Protocols, reports).
Report and present results to appropriate audiences (e.g., data summaries, reports).
Take ownership and perform troubleshooting of relevant equipment operation, calibration report and maintenance etc.

Profile

To be successful in the role you will have:

Degree in related field (PhD preferred) with strong industry experience in analytical development of biosimilars
Experience leading and managing a team to deliver complex projects
Excellent knowledge of HPLC and LCMS, inclusive of method development and troubleshootingJob Offer
