We're recruiting on behalf of a leading CDMO that develops and manufactures life-saving drug-device combination products. Their UK site is expanding, and we are looking for additional Analytical Scientists with a background in pharmaceutical testing (or freshly graduated) to join their dynamic team.

The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an R&D team developing next-generation therapies. You’ll work in a GMP-compliant environment, contributing to analytical testing, method development, and product innovation, all while ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct analytical testing on pharmaceutical products, ensuring compliance with GMP standards.
  • Support the design of testing protocols to drive robust, high-quality data output.
  • Prepare laboratory and quality incident reports as needed.
  • Represent the lab in internal and external meetings, including with regulatory bodies.
  • Uphold a strong “safety-first” culture and report incidents appropriately.
  • Complete CAPA (Corrective and Preventative Actions) within defined timelines.

    Your Profile:

  • Ideal: Industry experience in pharmaceutical product testing
  • Degree-qualified in a relevant scientific discipline with hands-on lab experience (Biochemistry or Chemistry)
  • Solid knowledge of HPLC is essential; experience with GC, MS, UPLC, or UV is advantageous.
  • Good understanding of GMP, GLP, and method development principles.
  • Comfortable with statistical methods and experimental design.
