Objective of the Role: We are seeking a dedicated Analyst to join our cardiovascular, renal and metabolic (CVRM) team at Airfinity. This pivotal role involves generating scientific and commercial intelligence for our clients across the CVRM space, with a particular focus on lipid-lowering therapies and custom obesity solutions. The successful candidate will conduct in-depth research and analysis and proactively contribute to the development and refinement of CVRM analytics to generate impactful scientific and commercial insights. You will have the opportunity to engage directly with clients, translating complex datasets into actionable insights and delivering comprehensive intelligence reports and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior team members to produce detailed intelligence reports across the CVRM and custom analytics space for clients.
  • Build CVRM expertise to support trial tracking, candidate assessment, and whitespace identification to inform client decision-making.
  • Act as a scientific partner to clients, communicating effectively as a CVRM expert and supporting bespoke project discussions.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis on emerging scientific developments in various CVRM areas, particularly lipid-lowering therapies.
  • Annotate and enhance scientific information with critical data points and impact metrics.
  • Utilise data visualisation tools to present analyses clearly and effectively.
  • Deliver powerful, tailored insights through well-crafted, client-ready reports and presentations.
  • Gain proficiency with our proprietary life science database.
  • Independently manage bespoke research tasks and contribute to project planning and execution.
  • Present research findings and strategic insights clearly to both internal stakeholders and clients.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate degree in a scientific field focusing on CVRM. PhD preferred or equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Expertise and a strong interest in scientific research and CVRM, with advantageous experience in lipid-lowering therapies or obesity.
  • Experience or strong interest in AI tool integration to enhance research workflows and insight generation.
  • Experience in data visualisation and storytelling, including building dashboards and reports.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with R, SQL, Python, or equivalent tools is beneficial.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality outputs efficiently.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Fluency in oral and written English, with the ability to communicate scientific and technical information effectively.
