Our company has a range of market leading monitoring and milking equipment which is sold directly to farmers and installed by approved third parties.The role will form part of our product support function within the Ruminant Business Unit of Animal Health.

A typical day would look like undertaking site surveys for our equipment, coordinating, delivering and assessing installations of that equipment, training up users in the hardware and software aspects of the monitoring equipment and being responsible for coordinating the response on any post-sales issues the customer may have. Success would look like more farmers using our equipment and being part of a highly functioning team.

We have roles available throughout Central & Southern England and Wales.

Theprimary activitiesinclude but are not limited to:

  • Lead on all post-sales aspects for our range of livestock intelligence equipment (monitoring, milking, reading and weighing)
  • Completion and review of site surveys for monitoring equipment
  • Co-ordination and approval of installations
  • In person onboarding of new users of the equipment
  • Co-ordination of post-sales issues to ensure an efficient resolution and positive experience for the customer
  • Maintain Salesforce CRM with work orders and customer interactions
  • Regular contact with colleagues in the local regional team (sales and veterinary)

Skills Required

  • Working knowledge of milking equipment, particularly electronics
  • Experience of working on dairy farms
  • Presentation skills to small groups on technical subjects
  • Administrative upkeep of databases, e.g. CRM
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills
  • Advanced troubleshooting, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills
  • Basic Information Technology, Computer knowledge
