Position: Advanced Practitioner

Location: Based within our Chesterfield and Derby sites

Working Patterns: Full-time and part-time hours available, covering a variation of shifts including: days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Competitive salary: DHU Band 8b.0, £62,484 - £72,885 per annum (pro rata)

DHU will acknowledge continued service pay within the scope of this role

What your typical day looks like: Practicing autonomously without direct supervision across the four pillars of advanced practice of clinical practice, leadership and management, education and research.
Utilising advanced clinical skills to assess, diagnose, treat and refer patients requiring the clinical service
Recognising the need for, initiate and where appropriate interpret relevant diagnostic investigations.
Recognising the need for and initiate where appropriate advice of relevant specialisms.
Exhibiting excellent nonverbal and verbal communication skills when dealing with patients and carers. To have the ability to make clear decisions with confidence and communicate these effectively.
Maintaining appropriate clinical records in line with current practice guidelines.
Working within the parameters of your skills and knowledge, recognising the limitations to your own practice and to work within the bounds of your training and capability according to regulatory codes of conduct.
To be a successful Advanced Practitioner you'll need: Registered Adult Nurse registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC), Paramedic registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) or Pharmacist registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
Registered as an independent non - medical prescriber.
Substantial Autonomous practice working and multi-professional team
Can complete a concise clinical history and physical examination.
